The CH120 SICS™ HBAR 16” Forend is a lightweight slim-profile aluminum forend for the Spuhr® Ideal Chassis System (SICS™). Made from 6082 aircraft-grade aluminum, the CH120 is designed for use with heavy barrel profiles up to 32 mm/1.25” diameter.
In contrast to the CH100 16” SICS™ Standard Forend and the CH110 13” SICS™ Short Forend, the CH120 SICS™ Heavy Barrel Forend does not have any provisions for attaching a night vision device or any other accessories to the top of the forend.
The bottom and sides of the forends feature Spuhr® Interfaces™ for attaching accessories, such as lasers and target illuminators, with unmatched repeatability.
The Spuhr® Interfaces™ along the sides of the forend also allow weights to be attached for competition use. The floor of the forend can house additional weights designed for this purpose if needed.
Note: HBAR profile uses different internal weights.
The bottom of the forend features an ARCA Swiss Rail for attaching the forend to a tripod. The rail has been specially designed for toolless use with the Spur CA001 ARCA Rail Grabber. Also included are two steel QD sling swivel cups positioned at the 1:30 and 10:30-positions past the mid-point of the top strap length.
Note: HBAR versions of the SICS™ includes the CH120 as standard.
